Nomvula has been the Registrar of the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions Council (SACPCMP) from December 2009 to July 2018. During her tenure at SACPCMP, the construction industry witnessed first-hand the bold steps taken by the SACPCMP to transform the landscape of professionals who register within the project and construction management disciplines. Nomvula presided over the expansion of the role of the SACPCMP, including the renewal of the construction mentor and creation of the health and safety registration categories.
Nomvula has extensive experience in stakeholder engagement at all government spheres and within the private sector which will enable her to forge and enhance strategic and sustainable partnerships for the implementation of new initiatives that will benefit the ACPM members and the profession as a whole.
Nomvula cherishes youth development and gender equalities as critical areas to address in the industry which is still lagging in these transformation areas and is poised to drive the entity to greater heights. It is our conviction as the ACPM that her efforts and expertise is bound to yield tangible results in the near future for our institution and the construction industry as a whole. Her knowledge, proven competency and track record in the industry made her the ideal candidate to be at the helm of driving the ACPM vision and objectives. Her proven track record in strategy formation and implementation will be of great benefit to the organization, its members and the industry as a whole.
